As a Security Officer Front Desk in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location as a Front Desk Professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, observe activity from a stationary post, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, clear communication, and working as part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring front desk activity, and assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with access and directional support.
• Screen and document visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with location protocols, including verifying identification and maintaining accurate front desk records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor cameras, phones, radios, and other front desk systems to help identify unusual activity and support timely reporting of security-related concerns.
• Support a professional lobby and reception presence by answering inquiries, following post instructions, and helping to deter unauthorized access at the location entry point.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
