Helio Health is seeking a Counselor II - Licensed Criminal Justice Specialist for the Forensic ACT program, who in addition to performing routine team duties, has lead responsibility for conducting criminogenic screenings and assessments; utilizing the RNR (risk-need-responsivity) approach to identify factors for addressing and reducing risk of incarceration/remand; guiding highly individualized, person-centered services plans identified in ACT guidelines along with any other individual priorities.

Pay Range: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

All Full-Time, Licensed Counselors are eligible for up to a Sign-On incentive up to $8,000 depending upon licensure/credentials!



Responsibilities

    Maintains a case load and performs primary counselor responsibilities to include screening, intake, orientation, assessment, evaluation and intervention, referral, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping, consultation, diagnostic impression, family counseling.
  • Provides services according to agency policies, procedures, program guidelines, and governmental regulations.
  • Monitors provision of services.
  • Evaluates programs and identifies strengths/weaknesses.
  • Assists in problem resolution.
  • Represents agency to the community.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Qualifications

  • Must possess a NYS licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC).
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation:
    • Helio Health's insurance carrier requires that employees who drive personal vehicles for work maintain minimum auto insurance coverage limits of at least $100,000/person; $300,000/accident and that employees provide HR with proof of current minimum insurance coverage (copy of Auto Liability Insurance Declaration Page) on their first day of employment. Employees are required to provide an updated Auto Liability Insurance Declaration Page to HR by expiration date on Declaration Page.

Salary and hourly compensation ranges are provided in accordance with NYS law and are based on Helio Health's good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting. Salary and hourly compensation offers are based on candidate's education level and experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager and program.
