Your Role at Cabot:

Cabot Corporation is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team at the Boston, MA location.

The Financial Analyst - Corporate FP&A is a key member of the Corporate Finance team. This highly visible roleis responsible forsupporting the corporation's management reporting,planningand analysis processes. Theroleprovidesthe opportunity to work closely with Cabot's various business and functional finance and leadership teams around the world.

  • Management Reporting:Assistin the preparation and development of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting/analysis packages and ad hoc analyses for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.

  • Planning Processes: Play a support role in the ongoing management and execution of the Long-Range Planning (LRP), budgeting/forecastingand performance management processes.

This role is based at the Boston, MA location, but is eligible to participate in the current HybridWorking Arrangement program.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of the company's budgeting and forecasting processes. Play a lead role in the development and maintenance ofconsolidatedfinancials/analytics, key metrics/measures, scorecards, etc.

  • Work closely with Corporate Accounting, External Reporting, the Management Information Group, and Business Finance to ensure that Corp Planning's financial models areaccurateand aligned.

  • Support the working capital reporting and forecasting process, deliveringtimelyandaccuratecompanywide reporting on key working capital metrics and managing the consolidation of business and corporate forecasts into a single enterprise view.

  • Assistin the design, enhancement and maintenance of various board and executive management reporting packages, with specific emphasis on data accuracy, timeliness, andstory-telling.

  • Provide financial planning and analysis support to the global functions (including R&D, SH&E, HR, Finance, and Legal).

  • Seektoidentifyopportunities tooptimizeand enhance Corp FP&A's planning and reporting processes.

  • Provide support for various ad hoc analyses,projectsand initiatives (including peer group comparisons, working capital analyses, short/long term financial modeling, etc.).

What You'll Bring to Cabot:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting;

  • 3+ years of finance, accounting, or public accounting experience.

  • Experiencein a manufacturing environment a plus.

  • Strongdigital skills includingExcelproficiencyrequired(VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis, etc.), Power BI,strongPowerPoint skills.

  • Working knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), Essbase, and/orDatamartspreferred. Experience with Anaplan is a plus.

  • Strong understanding and application of financial principles to analyze and interpret business results.

  • Ability toidentify, collect, analyze, and synthesize relevant data to support decisionmaking.

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to producingaccurate, thorough analysis and reporting.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple deliverables effectively.

  • Clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization

  • The pay range for this role is from $91,450 - $125,800. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skill, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, all positions are eligible for health benefits on the first day of employment, 401K savings plans, vision, dental and annual bonus based on company performance.
