Immediate Opening - Max Pay Rate: $18.00/hrShift HoursMonday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM until work is completed (typically between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, dependent on workload). On rare occasions, the shift may extend to 8:00 PM.Work EnvironmentThe work area is cold and wet, with temperatures consistently ranging from 34F to 40F throughout the year. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions and willing to learn to operate an electric pallet jack. Steel, safety, or composite slip- and water-resistant boots are required.Qualifications0-3 years of warehouse experience preferred (minimum 1 year required)High school diploma or GED equivalentAbility to read, write, and understand EnglishBasic arithmetic skillsPhysical ability to lift up to 80 lbs, bend, squat, push, pull, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spacesAbility to work safely with sharp instrumentsKnowledge of produce and previous experience in a processing facility is preferredResponsibilitiesEfficiently process fresh cut orders, including cutting and packaging vegetables and other food products for next-day deliveryEnsure processing room is clean and sanitized at the beginning of each shiftProcess fresh cut items and produce according to orders entered into the systemCreate labels for shipped productsPackage items and prepare them for shipment to ensure timely deliveryMaintain product quality standardsFollow all safety rules and regulationsFulfill additional requests or instructions from the Manager or Supervisor Enable Skills-Based Hiring No Onboarding Package M1Shift Details 1st / DayTime Type Full time
