| Primary Purpose of Position |
The Financial Services Security Administrator (
FSSA) manages and maintains system security access for Financial Services applications and data, including Banner Finance, Human Resources, Accounts Receivable, and Oracle reporting systems. The position processes and administers all Financial Services Employee system access, including State and third-party systems; campus user access requests to the above-mentioned Banner modules and reporting systems; develops and maintains Banner security classes; and ensures appropriate access controls in compliance with institutional policies and security standards. The
FSSA monitors system security integrity by running, analyzing, and resolving any reports of data integrity exceptions, responding to access-related inquiries, and supporting internal and external security audits. The position provides support for related applications such as ePrint, performs testing during system upgrades or enhancements, and maintains documentation for security administration processes.

| Summary of Position Responsibilities |
- Administer and manage user access, security, and compliance across Financial Services systems (Banner, Oracle, and external platforms), ensuring adherence to institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
- Process and maintain access requests, resolve user issues, and coordinate with departments to ensure timely provisioning while keeping accurate security records and documentation.
- Develop and maintain security roles, classes, and documentation, ensuring proper access control, segregation of duties, and compliance with institutional policies and audit requirements.
- Act as a liaison with OneIT to support security audits, ensuring appropriate user access, and compliance with policies.
- Orient and train teammates to support security administration functions and learn key functions of the Financial Services Applications Technician position to ensure continuity of operations during planned and unplanned absences.

| Minimum Education/Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field; or
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

- Minimum 2 years of Banner experience.
- Managing system access experience.
- Experience providing technical support to system users, including direct customer (user) service experience.
- Specific system experience includes: WebFocus; Kronos; Jaggaer; NCID/Core Banking.
