What we are looking for

We are looking for a Procurement Coordinator who will lead procurement activities for construction projects, ensuring materials and equipment are planned, sourced, and delivered in alignment with project requirements. This role is responsible for coordinating procurement from planning through delivery, supporting logistics, vendor communication, and inventory management to ensure successful project execution.The Procurement Coordinator works cross-functionally with project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure materials arrive on time, meet specifications, and support overall project timelines. This role reports to the Contracting Specialist and may work both independently and collaboratively.



How you can make an impact

* Coordinate procurement activities for construction projects, ensuring materials and equipment are ordered according to engineering drawings and project specifications
* Track materials and equipment from order through delivery, ensuring on-time arrival, compliance with specifications, and inspection for damage; coordinate replacements or returns as needed
* Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and project teams, providing updates, resolving issues, and coordinating logistics
* Maintain accurate procurement records including purchase orders, contracts, confirmations, packing slips, inspection forms, and inventory logs
* Monitor procurement timelines including submittals, fabrication schedules, testing milestones, and delivery deadlines
* Generate procurement reports, track key metrics, and submit requisitions to support project and management needs
* Lead vendor and project team meetings to review procurement status, address issues, and ensure alignment on delivery and logistics
* Coordinate staging, storage, and inventory reconciliation to support efficient project execution
* Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures
* Maintain organized procurement documentation to support audits and project closeout
* Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvements related to procurement and logistics
* Provide general administrative support to Project Managers and assist with additional project needs as required



Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience- including procurement, supply chain, logistics, construction coordination, administrative, or customer service experience required.
  • Experience with procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, inventory management, vendor management, and logistics coordination is preferred.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-pace project environment.
  • Ability to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze procurement and logistic issues and solve project-related challenges independently.
  • Professional writing and communication skills to interact with vendors, suppliers, and business functions.
  • Capability to resolve issues related to supply chain disruptions and order discrepancies.
  • Self-starter with a focus on meeting project deadlines and coordinating across cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite


Pay Range

USD $50,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
