Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

The Supervisor, Imaging Services is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight, technical guidance, and direct supervision of staff within the assigned imaging area, modality, shift, or facility location. The incumbent is accountable for directing departmental workflow, ensuring staff competency, and maintaining the highest standards of imaging quality, patient safety, and customer service within the designated area of assignment. This role is responsible for the selection, orientation, and training of new staff, as well as the ongoing coaching, performance management, and professional development of all assigned imaging personnel. The Supervisor defines performance expectations, evaluates staff performance, and initiates corrective action as warranted, in alignment with health system policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements. This position serves as a primary technical and operational resource within the assigned imaging area, providing expertise in modality-specific operations, imaging protocols, workflow coordination, and problem resolution. The Supervisor maintains accurate departmental records, ensures adequate staffing coverage across assigned shifts and locations, and promotes effective communication, a culture of continuous improvement, and employee engagement within the team. This position exercises independent judgment in managing the day-to-day operations, staffing, and service delivery of the assigned imaging function.


What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years Radiology experience in a Lead or Senior Technologist role in one of the following modalities: xray; CT; MRI; US
  • CRT license/certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Fluoroscopy license/ Certification
  • Experience in a large teaching facility
  • Certifications in one of the following: Fluroscopy, CT, MRI , ARDMS
  • Appropriate license/certification based on specialty (take from current CT, MRI, and US Job Description)

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Cert Radiologic Technologist
  • Basic Life Support
  • American Registry of Rad Techs
