What we need: Energetic, outgoing people who love helping customers and aren't afraid of answering the phone. Someone who is a good problem solver, can navigate our ticketing system and loves working with the public.

What you'll gain: Experience working with a variety of people from students to octogenarians, knowledge of our ticketing and CRM software; experience in sales, and a strong understanding of an arts organization.

Responsibilities/Duties of Position:

* 60% - Customer Service: Assist patrons with ticketing and donation needs; respond quickly, efficiently, and courteously to patron requests/questions; and provide positive enforcement of policies and procedures while maintaining the highest level of customer service via phone, in-person (during business hours or during shows), or e-mail. Sales may include individuals, groups, and schools.

* 10% - Cash Controls: Accurately account for daily sales, including cash, and other payment methods while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

* 10% - Mail, Office Duties, and Special Projects: Process mail with the highest level of accuracy and complete other duties as assigned by full-time staff members. Acquire and maintain accurate information regarding all pertinent events and box office policies. Conduct research and contribute to other special projects as assigned.

* 10% - Outbound Marketing and Fundraising: Participate in calling campaigns to clients regarding season and single tickets, student matinees, donations, event invitations, etc.

* 10% - Data Entry: Understand and manage data entry reports for ticketing, marketing, and development tasks, utilizing ticketing software and other Google or Microsoft Office platform.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
* High school diploma and two years of experience
* Experience with AudienceView ticketing software
* Work experience in a customer service setting.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Availability during weekday business hours and some evenings and weekends.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, multi-faceted environment under a variety of conditions.
* Proficient with Google and Microsoft Office suite of products.
* Problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to deal communicate effectively with and help individuals and groups from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to be courteous, friendly, confident, and have a positive manner at all times; excellent and intuitive customer service skills and philosophy.
* Reliability and promptness for scheduled shifts.
* Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

The ideal candidate will have:
* Cash handling skills.
* Computer skills with efficiency in Microsoft Office
* Interest in arts and culture
* Bilingual communication a plus
* Qualifications can come from experience gained through work, volunteering, extracurricular activities, school work, etc.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $16.75; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
