Desktop Support Technician (Onsite / Field Support) We're hiring a Desktop Support Technician to join a growing IT services team delivering hands-on, high-quality support to end users in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy being the go-to tech expert, solving problems onsite, and working directly with customers, this role is for you. What You'll Be Doing * Provide onsite desktop and field support for end users * Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues * Deploy, image, and configure laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, phones, and peripherals * Support Windows operating systems and approved applications * Assist with new user setups, password resets, and device onboarding * Diagnose performance issues and network slowness * Manage updates and respond to system alerts * Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including evenings/weekends * Clearly communicate technical solutions to non-technical users Required Qualifications * 3+ years of hands-on desktop or field support experience * 3+ years supporting hardware break/fix and Windows imaging * Networking and connectivity troubleshooting experience * Excellent customer-facing, communication, and organizational skills * Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Nice to Have * Windows 10 experience * Device migration and deployment projects * Exposure to cloud technologies Why Join Us? * Be part of a fast-growing IT services organization using modern technology * Collaborative, team-first culture * Clear opportunity for growth and skill development * Make a direct impact supporting day-to-day business operations Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, MA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
