Job Title: Customer Service Representative (Order Management) Location: Menomonee Falls, WI Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (EST) Work Arrangement: Hybrid (onsite at least 2 days per week; Wednesdays are a required core onsite day) Pay Rate: Starting at $20.58/hour Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support order management and customer service operations within a manufacturing-focused environment. This role is responsible for accurate order entry, order validation, issue resolution, and ongoing communication with a dealer network and internal teams. The ideal candidate has strong ERP experience, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Key Responsibilities * Accurately enter customer orders into an ERP system and validate order details for completeness and accuracy * Perform order validation and resolve exceptions, including pricing discrepancies * Monitor orders and process credits, cancellations, returns, exchanges, and order modifications * Handle purchase order revisions and maintain accurate order documentation and records * Respond to inbound customer calls and emails regarding orders, products, and services * Manage dealer network inquiries (dealer-facing; not end-user support) * Support Tier 0 / Tier 1 customer accounts (lower-volume, non-white-glove accounts) * Collaborate closely with sales, logistics, finance, production, planning, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment * Take on phone queue responsibilities after 45-60 days of training * Maintain service level expectations, including order processing within 48 hours and email acknowledgment within 48 hours * Deliver consistent, high-quality service with professionalism and attention to detail Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * 2+ years of experience in customer service, order management, or a related field * Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sightline, or similar) * Strong written and verbal communication skills * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Patience, empathy, and a professional customer-first mindset * Proven problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or retail environment * Phone-based customer support or call center experience * Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Key Skills * Order entry and order management * Customer service and customer support * ERP system navigation * Cross-functional collaboration * Phone and email communication * Exception handling and issue resolution Work Environment & Culture * Team-oriented environment with approximately 25 team members * Collaborative and close-knit team culture * Standard office setting with prolonged computer use * Business-casual, "dress for your day" approach * Occasional need for weekend work, depending on business needs Why Join? * Opportunity to work within a large, established organization * Exposure to cross-functional teams and complex order processes * Potential for contract extension (no FTE conversion at this time) * Supportive team culture with structured training and onboarding Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.
