Job Description

Provide administrative support for the clinical mission of the MU Speech & Hearing Clinic.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as forward-facing clinic administrative professional for the MU Speech and Hearing Clinic, greeting clients and providing assistance as needed.
  • Completing intake process for clients to support compliance with all applicable regulatory policies and guarantee client privacy.
  • Receiving and accepting phone inquiries for clinical services and referrals.
  • Maintaining client waitlist.
  • Reaching out to waitlisted clients as needed, via phone or email.
  • Scheduling all diagnostic appointments for each semester.
  • Assist in collecting client payments.
  • Assist with adding and updating client records in ClinicNote (EMR).
  • Maintain master list of student clinical assignments to ensure appropriate distribution of clinical experiences across semesters.
  • Assist with basic office needs such as supply inventory/ordering, submitting IT or maintenance work orders, stocking clinic rooms, etc.
  • Report to current senior administrative role and Clinic Director to receive delegated tasks as seen fit.
  • Cross-train with current senior administrative staff position to promote efficiency and cohesiveness across administrative operations for the entire department (may include tasks relating to academic and fiscal responsibilities).
  • Other job-related duties as necessary and job development.

Monday - Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic Office 365 knowledge and skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Customer/client service experience
Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $17.05 - $29.69
Grade: GGS-007
