Detailed Description

Under the supervision of the Cement Field Manager, the Cement Supervisor coordinates and executes cementing service line operations at the wellsite. This role is responsible for job planning, directing field crews, selecting appropriate equipment, and resolving operational issues within approved authority levels.

The Cement Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact between the cementing service line and the customer representative, ensuring alignment on job execution and service quality. The role emphasizes employee development, safety compliance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction to support long-term business success.

Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Strong knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
• Knowledge of company policies, HSE standards, and operational guidelines
• Ability to operate and supervise use of bulk cementing equipment, high-pressure systems, blenders, and auxiliary equipment
• Ability to perform cement job calculations, verify blend sheets, and complete field documentation
• Skilled in supervising and coaching field personnel
• Ability to coordinate rig-up and rig-down operations and oversee equipment readiness
• Knowledge of lifting equipment, hoisting, and rigging practices
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on cementing equipment
• Strong customer service skills with ability to manage client relationships on-site
• Ability to interpret proposals, job designs, and lab reports
• Proficient in basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow journey management and safety processes

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License or Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Relevant field experience in cementing or oilfield operations
• Ability to pass required training and certifications, including respirator fit test

Preferred Certifications

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Additional safety or industry certifications related to cementing operations

Additional Details (Working Conditions & Physical Demands)

Field-based role requiring work at active wellsites. Exposure to varying weather and environmental conditions. Must meet physical demands required to perform operational duties. Respirator fit test required. Frequent interaction with field crews, customers, and service providers. Requires participation in safety meetings, training, and compliance activities
