Johnson Outdoors designs and manufactures marine electronics for the recreational fishing market. We design and produce top-of-the-line brands, number one brands such as Minn Kota trolling motors, Cannon downriggers and Humminbird depth finders.

Internship overview:

The Johnson Outdoors Internship Program offers paid, handson experience for students looking to apply classroom learning in a real business environment. Internships are based at our Mankato, Minnesota manufacturing and distribution center, located at 121 Power Drive.

Our interns are treated as valued team members and contribute to meaningful projects that support active business initiatives.

We are looking for candidates that have a minimum of three semesters of college course work completed in an engineering related field, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, Design Qualification, or Quality.

We have 3 month summer internships as well as year-round internships. For our year-round internships we are very flexible on work hours and can accommodate most class schedules. Continuation of summer employment of 40 hours per week is available and encouraged.
