SUMMARY:

The Information Technology Property Custodian (ITPC) Manager is a key on-site team lead position supporting the 17th Training Group (TRG) in providing asset management services in compliance with DAFMAN 17-1203 Information Technology Asset Management, ensuring asset accountability, physical oversight, visibility, and adherence to established Air Force policies and directives. In addition to performing ITPC duties, this lead position will manage the on-site team of 9 supply technicians ensuring contract service provided is compliant, effective, and efficient across the 17 TRG Training Squadrons.

Salary Range - $80,000 to 85,000

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position collaborates closely with both 17 TRG Stakeholders, fellow ITPC team members, and Dawson MCG management. The successful ITPC Manager will bring an entrepreneurial mindset to guide integrated, intuitive, efficient, and effective asset management support exceeding client requirements and objectives responsible for team management processes, team schedules, team performance and execution, reporting, and ensuring quality project deliverables.



  • Serves as the ITPC team lead providing technical and management guidance/direction
  • Works closely with the client, team members, and company management to provide services that adhere to quality, schedule, performance, and budget constraints
  • Works with client to understand expectations and manage those throughout project completion
  • Mentors project staff members
  • Implements reporting requirements to maintain teamwide and leadership awareness of project progress, performance, and issues
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client and project management staff
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Track and maintain 100% accountability of all assigned sensitive and non-sensitive IT assets under 17 TRG purview. Maintain physical accountability and security compliance with all IT assets
  • Maintain proper classification marking and regulated distance on all classified IT equipment
  • Follow guidance or notify Equipment Custodian Officer (ECO) on all shipments (incoming and outgoing), transfers, donations, or turn-ins of excess assets
  • Conduct Annual and Out-of-cycle physical inventory within 98% accuracy. Report lost, damaged, or destroyed assets
  • Identify and manage underutilized, obsolete or impaired assets while maintaining full lifecycle documentation
  • Serve as Tier 1 hardware support and escalate unresolved issues through official ticketing systems
  • Develop, update and archive room diagrams in centralized repositories using ServiceNow and SharePoint. Provide documentation to stakeholders and auditors upon request
  • Confirm approved ITR/CIPS tickets prior to any asset movement or system changes.
  • Dispose of assets in compliance with DAFMAN 17-1203 and 17-1301
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to 17 TRG Asset Management
  • Develop physical inventory plans and procedures, schedule physical inventories, and assist in their completion
  • Complete all required annual, refresher, and ancillary training


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • This job has supervisory responsibilities and provides key leadership to team(s) of engineers and administrators within a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, mentoring, training, and evaluating employee performance of 10 to 20 employees
  • Plans, assigns, and directs work within a matrixed construct


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • 1 year of direct, relevant experience in the military or as a civilian or contractor
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to analyze data
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment and operate in rapidly evolving task demands, including multiple projects with dependencies
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to solve complex problems in fast past environment
  • Ability and experience using Microsoft tools
