General Purpose Under general supervision, perform a variety of business support activities for the Mideast Area. Duties may include preparing, editing, or distributing correspondence; tracking, filing, collecting, summarizing, or organizing information; performing data entry and processing of information; running reports; assisting with transportation route optimization; assisting with records retention; and completing special projects. Respond to the needs of internal and/or external customer requests or questions. May provide backup support to other administrative positions. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist department and/or office staff, performing any combination of clerical duties including reconciling and summarizing documents and information
- Gather information and create a system to track preventative maintenance schedules and repairs on ELS-owned coolers and ice machines
- Assist with shipping and receiving and laboratory warehouse organization
- Accurately organize, upload, and file all digital members documents and paperwork for farmer-owners and haulers
- Track, file, collect, summarize, or organize information
- Maintain various records, spreadsheets, logs, etc.
- Use software applications and other standard office equipment for recording, storing, retrieving, and compiling information including specialized software for sample transportation route analysis and optimization
- Compile and generate regular and special reports

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years' office, administrative, or related experience
- Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment

- Proficiency and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems
- Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills)

- Able to independently gather data, compile information, and prepare reports

- Valid driver's license with no significant restrictions or violations
