About the Role

The incumbent will lead the reporting and analytics strategy for the Horizon Digital Product Management team, which includes understanding the product goals, development of reports outlining key insights and presentation of these reports to external clients (group customers, brokers, benefits managers external account managers and vendors) and Horizon senior management on a regular basis. This position will partner with multiple customers across the Enterprise as well as external-facing customers to provide analysis that requires the study of situational factors, gathering information from several sources, and provides reporting/analytic deliverables (i.e. tables, graphs, recommendations, etc.) in a consultative manner. This will entail managing data analysis tied to existing user journeys and personas as well as identifying and creating new ones as the enterprise evolves. Work cross-functionally partnering with Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, Enterprise Analytics, IT delivery teams, Analytics and external partners. Generate data driven insights that support prioritization of Horizon's investment in building capabilities and business and technology strategies. Measure and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of digital projects, including impact of these digital effort on the achievement of overall member experience satisfaction goals as well as division, segment and group account-specific member experience objectives. This position also requires analyzing, understanding and translating data acquired through digital and direct marketing campaigns to produce insights that help steer the product development process.

What You'll Do

  • Design, development and on-time distribution of regularly scheduled customer-facing reports for digital products, highlighting key learnings and opportunities on an ongoing basis.
  • Map analytics to key business goals in partnership with stakeholders and digital leadership team.
  • Presentation of results to external customers and Horizon senior management to demonstrate the results/value of key digital products and vendor integrations
  • Collects and analyzes digital product performance and trends across multiple channels, and utilizes data to identify and recommend improvement opportunities for all of Horizon's member-facing digital assets as well as customer/group account-specific digital tools (eg SHBP, National Accounts)
  • Devise process for producing deliverables from information stored in Horizon data warehouses or other sources.
  • Select and utilize appropriate analytic tools for each analytic deliverable.
  • Analyze data results from multiple information sources to ensure reporting and analytic requirements have been met. In addition, provide clear, concise and efficient summary analysis to customer.
  • Build strong strategic relationships with business leaders.
  • Engages business stakeholders, acting as a point of contact for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop insights into high impact areas. Map data to user journeys & carve out persona specific insights.
  • Extract, analyze and synthesize data to measure and report on user behavior.
  • Use digital analytics tools to collect data from digital properties. Create metrics/reports for various stakeholders throughout the Enterprise. Design and build solutions for BI & reporting dashboards.
  • Draw conclusions from complex data and make recommendations to other areas of the business.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative insights across digital channels. Maintain knowledge of key developments in the industry and among competitors.

What You Bring

Education/Experience:

  • Requires a Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Information. Technology, Marketing, or related field, or 12 years relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Requires a minimum of 7-10 years of experience related work experience preferably in health insurance.
  • Experience as a key contributor in major company initiatives and demonstrated some leadership experience.
  • Web analytics experience.
  • Experience with front-end Business Intelligence tools required (Tableau, Google analytics, etc.).
  • Experience creating and presenting data that can be readily understood by business leaders and external customers required.

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrates proficiency in structured query languages or analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrates significant ability in preparing data for presentation.
  • Demonstrates ability to apply structure to a loosely defined problem.
  • Demonstrates understanding of core business functions.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong quantitative & analytical skills
  • Ability to extract, track, report, and analyze data in order to assist decision making across the company.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
  • Healthcare Industry experience

Salary Range:

$97,800 - $133,455

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
