Data Quality Engineer

Overview



  • Design and implement data quality rules, validation checks, and monitoring processes
  • Identify and resolve data issues across multiple systems and data pipelines
  • Develop data profiling routines and quality metrics to measure data health
  • Partner with engineers and analysts to improve data pipelines and system integrations
  • Build dashboards and reports to track data quality and trends
  • Support root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
  • Contribute to data governance efforts, standards, and best practices
  • Support testing and validation during system integrations and data transformations



Job Requirements



  • 5-10+ years of experience in data quality, data engineering, or data analytics
  • Strong experience working with data validation, profiling, and quality frameworks
  • Experience working with structured data, databases, and data pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Python, or similar
  • Experience building dashboards or reporting solutions (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Ability to work across technical and business teams
  • Clearance: Active Secret (required)



Nice to Have



  • Experience supporting DoD or Federal programs
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools or modern data platforms (Databricks, AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience with data governance or master data management
  • Exposure to Agile or DevSecOps environments
  • Relevant certifications in data, cloud, or analytics
