Job Title: Associate Supply Chain Engineer
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Contract - 12 months (possible extensions based on performance)
Pay Rate: $70-85/hr
Location: Clayton, NC
Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary:
The Associate Supply Chain Engineer supports operational readiness, supply chain execution, and warehouse implementation activities within a pharmaceutical environment. This role focuses on ensuring successful facility ramp-up, system integration, and process optimization during project and go-live phases.

Working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, IT, Engineering, and Project Management teams, the Associate Supply Chain Engineer plays a key role in risk mitigation, validation support, and continuous improvement to ensure efficient and compliant supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:
* Support supply chain projects in collaboration with management and cross-functional teams.
* Assist in executing operational readiness and project deliverables.
* Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies; execute solutions to resolve issues.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive projects to completion.
* Investigate operational issues, deviations, and unscheduled events; implement corrective actions.
* Optimize processes to improve reliability during transitional phases.
* Support facility readiness activities (e.g., material lifts, dock operations, warehouse modules).
* Provide validation support for systems and processes (including CNC systems and warehouse environments).
* Assist with inventory processes such as cycle counts within warehouse management systems.
* Establish and maintain KPIs and escalation plans.
* Support QA processes including Deviation (DV), Change Control, and CAPA.
* Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in internal and external audits related to warehouse readiness.
* Support go-live decision-making processes and execute readiness checklists.
* Coordinate cross-functional readiness activities to meet project milestones.
* Provide on-site support during go-live and stabilization phases.
* Monitor performance metrics and facilitate rapid issue resolution.
* Document lessons learned and implement corrective actions.
* Support warehouse systems including SAP EWM and interface integrations.
* Develop and maintain Interface Agreements (IFAs) with internal and external partners.
* Troubleshoot system connectivity and data flow issues in collaboration with IT/OT teams.
* Track and analyze operational performance against KPIs.
* Identify and implement process improvements.
* Support transition from project phase to steady-state operations.
* Ensure knowledge transfer to operational teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proactive, self-starter with strong organizational abilities.
* Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, IT, Engineering, and Project teams.
* Experience investigating and resolving operational or quality issues.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Pharmaceutical project experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, or logistics within a pharmaceutical environment.
* Familiarity with GMP/GDP compliance requirements.
* Experience supporting validation and operational readiness activities.
* Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP EWM).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
