Description
This position serves as a technology analyst (or digital product manager) within the Career and Professional Education group. The position leads the technology operations for Career and Professional Education The position works closely with the Portfolio Manager for the ACS Institute and the Instructional Designer regarding all technology aspects of the eCommerce and learning management systems for Career and Professional Education, The position contributes to Division- and Society-wide initiatives that advance ACS learning opportunities and the value of these opportunities for current and prospective members. The incumbent reports directly to the Assistant Director, Career and Professional Education. Position Accountabilities
This role is based in our Washington, DC office and a reasonable rate of compensation for this position is between $110,000-$120,000 per year. ACS employees work a hybrid schedule, consisting of working onsite two days per work week, as decided by functional area. The balance of the week is open to working remotely, though employees are always welcome onsite each day if they choose. Bachelors of Business Administration (preferred)
Bachelors of Computer Science (required) Bachelors of Information Technology (required) Experience
3 - 5 years: *Familiarity with eLearning standards, such as SCORM, xAPI, and HTML5.
*Familiarity with implementing and maintaining WCAG accessibility standards. *Familiarity with Jira and Atlassian suite. *Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills, especially in matrixed environments. *Experience influencing without authority. *Experience with analytics tools and performance dashboards. *STEM education or professional learning experience is a plus.
