The Vice President - MDU Sales leads the company's national Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) strategy and drives performance across a broad multistate footprint. The position owns end-to-end MDU revenue growth, including contract acquisition, subscriber penetration, and overall portfolio results. The leader will oversee a high performing national MDU sales organization and ensure strategies, operations, and performance metrics align with companywide business goals. This role requires strong cross functional collaboration with internal teams to maximize subscriber acquisition and activation within contracted communities. Key responsibilities include developing market penetration plans, guiding sales operations, setting targets, managing forecasting and budgeting, and monitoring critical performance indicators. Additional responsibilities include establishing sales policies, optimizing sales tools and systems, identifying risks and opportunities, and attracting and retaining top sales talent.



Responsibilities

    Team Leadership - Oversees a high performing MDU sales organization. This role sets KPIs that demonstrate clear accountability. It coaches and develops leaders for the team, and fosters a culture focused on performance, collaboration, and customer experience.
  • Strategy & Growth - Defines and executes the national MDU go to market strategy, driving revenue, penetration, and market expansion. It owns MDU revenue targets, forecasting, and prioritization of greenfield and brownfield opportunities while developing strategic pricing, contract, and partnership frameworks. The leader also turns competitive insights and industry trends into actionable strategy.
  • Contract Negotiation & Execution - Leads negotiations and execution of Bulk Service Agreements, Earnest Money agreements, return on equities, and large multi-property or REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) deals. It serves as the senior negotiator with key external partners and oversees financial modeling, risk assessment, and internal coordination to accelerate contract execution and deployment.
  • Subscriber Growth & Penetration - Drives subscriber acquisition by partnering with internal teams on door-to-door efforts, events, and activation activities within MDU communities. The role sets joint plans and performance targets to improve conversion across new and existing properties and monitors penetration metrics.
  • Relationship & Partnership Management - Maintains executive level relationships with major REITs, property managers, developers, builders, and homeowner association boards. It represents the company at industry events and portfolio reviews.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration & Operational Excellence - Partners with internal teams guiding timely launches, accurate forecasting, and strong resident experiences. It oversees contract governance, compliance, and documentation while monitoring analytics and performance at the property and market level.


Qualifications

Required Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree OR 4+ years professional work experience.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in MDU, telecom/broadband, real estate, or portfolio-based sales.
  • 6+ years leading multi-state/national teams with direct revenue accountability.

Other Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Experience negotiating bulk, EMA, ROE, or complex real estate contracts.
  • Experience with REITs, national property management groups, and developer ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of broadband infrastructure, competitive MDU dynamics, and deployment processes.
  • Experience with MDU revenue growth, contracted units/properties, and subscriber penetration rates.
  • Experience with volume, velocity, and value of executed bulk/EMA agreements.
  • Experience in team expansion, development, and performance management.
  • Experience in portfolio ROI, contract cycle time, and deployment speed.
  • Strong matrix leadership, influencing, analytical, financial modeling, and executive communication skills.
