That's why we're looking for a Practice Group Assistant to provide professional and administrative support and assist with assignment and project coordination for the practice group.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for...



  • Managing multiple databases in support of the practice group and clients
  • Preparing correspondence, legal documents, forms, presentations, and the like using intermediate to advanced work processing and technology skills
  • Effectively proofreading and editing documentation for grammatical and typographical errors; providing detailed review of client related documentation to include required signatures
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for legal staff utilizing available resources
  • Forwarding appropriate billing and expense information to Accounting Department in accordance with established firm policy
  • Providing support with processing Professional Activity Expense form (PAE), expenses and reimbursements
  • Assisting LAAs in the group with attorney time entries, reviewing pre-bills and processing client invoices


The successful candidate will demonstrate...



  • A minimum of one year of related experience
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage workflow
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail, grammar, and punctuation, and the ability to effectively present ideas and findings visually
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently with general supervision, and meet routine and unanticipated deadlines
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with external parties and internal personnel either orally or in written form, including use of e-mail system
  • Ability to process firm accounting data related to invoice processing and client billing
  • Ability to assist with and/or manage heavy document production
