Job Summary
#CA-KN The Value Analysis & Strategic Sourcing Analyst supports clinical and operational stakeholders by facilitating product evaluation, utilization review and value analysis activities that drive cost effective, evidence-based purchasing decisions without compromising patient care. This role partners with physicians, clinicians, and cross-functional teams to coordinate product reviews, support trials and conversions and implement standardization initiatives within established governance structures. Through data analysis, stakeholder coordination and project execution, the analyst supports supply chain performance, contract alignment and measurable cost savings while maintaining high-quality clinical outcomes. - Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-5 years of relevant professional experience; healthcare environment.
- Experience with project coordination and implementation across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with data management, reporting and utilization tracking.
- Thorough knowledge of strategic sourcing policies, practices, and systems.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, policies, and organizational needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to independently gather, organize, and perform analytical or sourcing assignments
- Strong listening and communication skills, including the ability to present information in a cleat and concise manner verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational, meeting facilitation and decision-making skills.
- Detailed oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Working knowledge of value analysis processes, supply chain operations and clinical product evaluation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and develop actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, prioritize work and execute within established frameworks.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups, including physicians and clinical leaders.
- Ability to gather, analyze and synthesize information to support decision-making and problem resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare, hospital, or academic medical center environment supporting supply chain, value analysis, or operational functions.
- Experience coordinating product reviews, project implementation, or workflow processes involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing utilization, spend, or operational data to support decision-making, cost management, or performance improvement initiatives.
- Experience working with clinical products, medical devices, or hospital operations, including familiarity with regulatory, contracting, or reimbursement considerations.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of medical devices, clinical workflows and hospital operations preferred.

Department Overview Under the direction of Supply Chain Management leadership and as part of the Value Analysis team, the incumbent supports the day-to-day operations of product review, value analysis, and expense optimization activities. Provides support to clinical, operational, and supply chain stakeholders in the evaluation, coordination, and implementation of products and services.
Works closely with departments and leadership to ensure timely resolution of product related requests, supports governance and review processes, and assists in identifying opportunities to improve service, standardization, and cost efficiency. The incumbent also supports data analysis, reporting, and system workflows to help maintain effective operations and alignment with organizational goals. POSITION INFORMATION
