The Philanthropy Specialist Stewardship provides program management with specific responsibilities to include key donor-facing touchpoints for communications, celebration and serving as the central liaison among internal partners and external vendors for art specific fundraising initiatives.

Essential Job Function

  • The Specialist provides coordinated oversight of stewardship operations, ensuring the thoughtful, timely, and accurate execution of donorfacing activities that reinforce Cone Health's culture of gratitude and strengthen longterm philanthropic relationships.

  • Supports the development and implementation of strategic stewardship plans that enhance donor engagement, elevate recognition experiences, and align stewardship practices with the organization's philanthropic priorities.

  • Serves as the central liaison among internal partners-including fundraisers, departmental leaders, finance, and clinical teams-and external collaborators such as artists, designers, and fabrication vendors to ensure seamless planning and installation of donorfunded art, recognition displays, and commemorative elements.

  • Oversees the endtoend production and quality control of donor communications, including the preparation, generation, and distribution of donor tax letters, birthday cards, personalized acknowledgments, and yearend giving statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

  • Manages the full workflow for donor recognition plaques and signage across all sites, including content review, approvals, production, and installation, ensuring consistent standards and a professional, donorcentric presentation.

  • Coordinates meaningful donor gifts and recognition experiences that appropriately reflect donor impact, exercising sound judgment in selection, ordering, and delivery logistics.

  • Plans and assists with smallscale donor engagement opportunities-including celebrations, recognition moments, and intimate gatherings-ensuring each event reflects intentionality, operational excellence, and alignment with donor interests.

  • Maintains organized stewardship systems, workflows, and documentation, ensuring accurate tracking, crossteam visibility, and consistent execution of all donorfacing activities.

  • Provides regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders, including reports on stewardship activities, operational needs, donor engagement outcomes, and opportunities to enhance the donor experience.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree

Experience

  • Required: 3 Years of Philanthropy experience.

  • Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, Workday, and Microsoft Excel.
