Title: Facility Maintenance Manager

Reports To: Operations Manager


Pay Rate: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00

This information represents our good faith estimate of the base salary range for this position upon hire, based on available data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on geographic location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors including job related skills, experience, applicable education or training and other relevant factors.


Position Overview:

The Facility Maintenance Manager will lead and manage maintenance operations for essential facilities, including the fuel farm, bus wash, and maintenance of ancillary equipment. This position necessitates hands-on leadership, ensuring all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry regulations and will work in conjunction with the Health, Safety, & Environmental Coordinator. The Facility Maintenance Manager will also manage fuel farm and parking lot attendants to ensure optimal facility operations and service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and provide leadership to maintenance staff, including fuel farm attendants, and parking lot attendants.
  • Oversee work schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet operational needs.
  • Oversee all operations of the fuel farm, including fuel dispensing, inventory management, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Implement procedures for efficient fuel handling and maintenance of fuel farm equipment.
  • Manage the operation of the bus wash facility to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the fleet.
  • Develop and enforce protocols for the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Provide training to maintenance staff and attendants on best practices for safety, fuel management, and equipment operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.
  • Manage inventory levels for maintenance parts, supplies, and cleaning products for the bus wash, ensuring availability while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with procurement for purchasing necessary equipment and supplies for maintenance operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, supplies inventory, and work orders, ensuring documentation is ready for audits and compliance checks.



Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of maintenance practices, safety standards, and regulations for fuel handling and vehicle operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Willingness to be flexible and productive.



Physical Demands:


  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 40 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently through shift
