From your PASSION to ours

Lactalis Heritage Dairy, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Category Leadership Planogram Analyst based in Bentonville, AR.

The Category Leadership Planogram Analyst works closely with the Category Leadership team to deliver best-in-class assortment and shelving recommendations. This role leverages data sources such as Retail POS (point of sale) to identify shelving and assortment opportunities, including item recommendations and space-to-sales optimization.

The position is also responsible for building retailer planogram versions using space planning software (JDA). A key component of the role includes conducting on-site visits with customers to develop and execute test sets within simulation rooms.

This role complements the broader Category Leadership team and contributes to Category Reviews and other retailer-driven initiatives. The position will support the Walmart account.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Schematic/Planogram Work - 75%

  • Area Lead on receiving, managing, and prioritizing planogram requests.
  • Develop POG proposals based on available data and strategic initiatives.
  • Update all Cheese and Entertaining POG's for retailers based on insights coming out of Category Reviews.
  • Review available data provided in Space Planning software to ensure POG versions match retailers compliance metrics on days of supply, case pack out, assortment progressions, etc.
  • Utilize Tables available in Space Planning Software to provide recommendations for retailers that will improve Category Performance.
  • Maintain current and active product image library for planogram use.

Assortment Recommendations - 15%

  • Conduct space to sales analysis utilizing available Planogram Software metrics along with sales data.
  • Utilize sales and trend data for assortment recommendation.
  • Create slides on both assortment and space to sales recommendations that can be used in customer meetings.

Test Sets - 10%

  • Partner with Retailers to develop Planogram at test site locations.
  • Provide key insights to retailers on ways they can better merchandise product to optimize the shelf to deliver category growth.
Requirements

From your STORY to ours

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of CPG experience preferred.
  • Experience using Planogram software such as Apollo or JDA preferred.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable with presenting internally and externally.
  • Working knowledge of Retailer POS data and IRI Unify preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint, Apollo or JDA.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with intellectual curiosity; always testing hypothesis.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
  • Ability to travel (1-2 times per year).
