Overview As an Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) Pilot for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Pittsburgh, PA office, you will support our clients and offices nationwide. Operations will include flying multiple unmanned aircraft equipped with LIDAR, photogrammetry, video, magnetometer, and other sensors. You will be expected to align with CEC's commitment to safety, training, FAA regulations, client first service, and client satisfaction. While the bulk of your work will be in PA, OH, and WV, UAS Pilots cover projects across the country and are expected to travel as needed to accomplish the missions. You will be responsible for coordinating with your office lead pilot to plan and execute various mapping and inspection missions. You will manage all aspects of UAS missions, from pre-flight inspections, final flight planning and execution, setting up the payloads, UAS NOTAMs, FAA weather minimums, TFR's post-flight closeout procedures, and post-flight data checks for accuracy and sufficiency. Knowledge and understanding of post-processing data or preparing UAS deliverables are a plus. In this position, you will:
