Position Summary

The Receptionist answers the phone in a friendly, helpful manner, directs calls to the appropriate person or department, and greets customers and visitors.

Essential Job Functions

  • Answer incoming calls in a pleasant, helpful manner and direct or transfer them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Provide callers with information such as company address, directions, fax numbers, website address, and other general inquiries.
  • Notify staff of deliveries to the front desk.
  • Enforce PCI compliance by requiring visitors and vendors to sign in and wear a visitor or vendor badge. Greet and assist customers, visitors, and vendor representatives as they arrive. Provide visitors and vendor representatives with badges and access fobs.
  • Maintain AX customer database by completing daily lead distribution and monitoring the Account Management Inbox.
  • Utilize SalesForce for customer information management.
  • Complete weekly assigned projects as directed by the Manager, Sales Operations.
  • Demonstrate predictable and consistent attendance.
  • Perform other related duties in support of departmental goals.
Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in front desk, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with phone systems, scheduling software, and office equipment such as copiers, printers, and scanners.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Work Environment

Work is performed in an office environment. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. The employee is required to sit for extended periods as well as frequently stand, walk, reach above shoulders, and use standard office equipment including a computer, telephone, copier, printer, and virtual collaboration software.
