The GEL Group, Inc. is looking for a skilled Receptionist to join our team of professionals in our Charleston, SC office to manage the flow of in-person and phone/email correspondence for people interacting with our Laboratory or Engineering teams. As a Receptionist, you will be the gatekeeper, literally and figuratively, responsible for managing the flow of traffic into the building, orchestrating vendor and visitor sign-in, answering phones, and providing administrative support to the people in the main Charleston location. You must be able to work independently, effectively manage your time, and assist the Lab Leaders and Human Resources team with projects. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator, with a positive demeanor, excellent in Microsoft Office 365 applications, and understand the importance of creating a welcoming first point of contact for our employees, customers, and vendors. Safety is a priority and negligence is not tolerated. Safety equipment is provided, and use is mandatory, when in required Laboratory areas.
