Job Overview

As part of the Newborns Neighbors Pilot Study, trained perinatal peer support workers will provide virtual 1:1 evidence-based emotional and practical postpartum support to new moms during the first 6 weeks postpartum.

Essential Functions

• Support mothers' infant feeding goals
• Uphold the lived experience of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum
• Respond to moms' needs
• Complete a virtual synchronous and asynchronous training
• Administer the Healthy Minds Philly behavior health screener

Physical Demands

• Typically sitting at a desk/table
• Typically standing, walking
• Lifting demands up to 25lbs

University City, Philadelphia, PA

Additional Information

This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
