The UAT Project Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for ensuring that ERP solutions meet documented business requirements, support end-to-end business processes, and are ready for production deployment. This role requires close coordination with client leadership, subject-matter experts (SMEs), implementation vendors, and internal testing teams to deliver a transparent, controlled, and successful UAT engagement.

This position may be remote or hybrid, depending on client needs. Up to 25% travel to client site in Nassau County, NY will be required. This position is also contingent upon award, expected April 2026.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) effort for ERP financial system implementations, including scope definition, scheduling, resource coordination, execution oversight, and formal closeout.

Develop and maintain comprehensive UAT strategies, project plans, schedules, and exit criteria aligned with client objectives and deployment milestones.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders throughout the UAT lifecycle, facilitating kickoff meetings, daily execution reviews, defect triage sessions, and final readiness assessments.

Oversee requirements traceability to ensure all functional, control, reporting, and end-to-end process requirements are mapped to test cases and executed.

Manage UAT team activities including test case development, tester onboarding, execution coordination, artifact collection, and results validation.

Coordinate defect logging, tracking, prioritization, retesting, and disposition with technical and implementation teams.

Ensure UAT environments are ready, including access, roles, test data, integrations, and smoke testing.

Provide daily, weekly, and milestone-based status reporting including metrics, defect trends, risks, and readiness assessments.

Lead development of UAT Summary Reports, go/no-go recommendations, and stakeholder sign-off packages.

Support data conversion testing efforts including mock conversion coordination, validation oversight, and reconciliation reporting.

Proactively identify risks, escalate issues, and recommend mitigations across business and technical teams.

Minimum Requirements:

8+ years of experience managing or leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or functional testing efforts for large-scale ERP or financial systems.

5+ years of experience with government financial management systems such as CGI Advantage or Momentum.

Demonstrated experience managing full testing lifecycles including planning, execution, defect management, and go-live readiness.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with business users, vendors, and technical teams.

Strong experience supporting state, local, or federal government clients.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior leadership.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.

The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

The ability to support up to 25% travel to Nassau County, NY

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-based ERP SaaS implementations transitioning from legacy on-premises systems to the Cloud.

Experience with requirements traceability matrices, defect tracking tools, and test management platforms.

Hands-on experience supporting data conversion testing, mock conversions, and financial reconciliations.

Experience supporting formal go/no-go deployment decisions.
