(Hybrid: Minimum 2 days/week onsite)

Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Scrum Master II to support Agile delivery teams by driving adoption of Lean-Agile practices, improving delivery predictability, and maximizing team throughput. This role focuses on coaching teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, optimizing backlog flow, and enabling continuous improvement within a scaled Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation & Execution

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support scaled Agile events such as cross-team planning, dependency alignment, and inspect & adapt sessions.
• Promote transparency through effective use of Agile metrics and information radiators.

Planning & Backlog Management

• Partner with Product Owners to drive quarterly, release, and sprint planning.
• Ensure backlog readiness and alignment to Definition of Ready (DoR).
• Maintain a healthy backlog with clear prioritization and forward planning.

Team Coaching & Support

• Coach teams toward self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Foster psychological safety, collaboration, and high-performance team dynamics.
• Remove impediments and escalate risks impacting delivery.
• Act as a buffer to protect teams from external disruptions.

Delivery & Stakeholder Alignment

• Track and communicate delivery progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Facilitate cross-team coordination and dependency management.
• Partner with leadership, product, and engineering stakeholders for alignment.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

• Utilize flow-based metrics (cycle time, throughput, WIP limits) to improve delivery performance.
• Drive data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong expertise in Kanban and flow-based delivery metrics (cycle time, throughput, WIP limits).
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe preferred).
• Proven ability to coach teams and build trust in fast-paced environments.
• Strong backlog management and delivery tracking experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in IT or related field).
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred.
• Must be based in the Atlanta, GA area and able to work onsite 2 days/week.

• Experience in scaled Agile environments with multiple teams.
• Exposure to spec-driven or design-first development models.
• Strong systems thinking and data-driven delivery approach.

• Candidates must be able to work onsite at least 2 days per week (may increase based on team alignment).
