Goldman Sachs Alternatives is one of the leading investors in alternatives globally, with over $525 billion in assets and more than 30 years of experience. The business invests in the full spectrum of alternatives including private equity, growth equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds and sustainability. Clients access these solutions through direct strategies, customized partnerships, and open-architecture programs. Goldman Sachs Alternatives is a part of Goldman Sachs Asset and Wealth Management division (AWM). Within AWM, the Financing and Debt Capital Markets team ("DCM") is responsible for sourcing, negotiation and execution of financing agreements for funds and products managed by Goldman Sachs. The team ensures global consistency in terms and adherence to critical risk management principles, while managing the firm's lender and counterparty relationships to originate and optimize debt capital for various investment products. This capital is a critical component of the performance we deliver to our investors. We are currently seeking a Vice President in New York to support our financing and refinancing efforts for portfolio companies within our Private Equity funds and Sustainable Investing Group. The Private Equity Investing business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management has been operating for over 30 years. The business partners with experienced operators and management teams across multiple sectors, including healthcare, financials, business services and technology. The Sustainable Investing Group is the impact investing platform within Goldman Sachs Alternatives, deploying capital for Horizon funds family. The team manages dedicated strategies to capitalize on demand for mitigation, resilience and adaptation, fueled by a generational rise in energy consumption as well as opportunities in the inclusive growth space globally, with the goal of generating positive and measurable impact for our communities, alongside financial returns.
