College of Professional Studies (CPS) is seeking a
Program Associate, Enrollment Operations to serve as the operational bridge between Admissions, Communications, and IT. This is a critical, cross-functional role that blends project coordination, communications execution, and
CRM fluency to create seamless, high-quality experiences for prospective and current students.

About This Role: The Program Associate, Enrollment Operations reports to the Associate Dean of Enrollment Management & Student Life and joins a team of dedicated admissions and student success professionals. This role provides high-impact, cross-functional coordination to support prospective student engagement and enrollment goals. You will be the connective tissue linking Admissions, Communications, and IT-ensuring multichannel campaigns run smoothly, systems stay aligned, and communications reach the right prospective students at the right time.
You will manage day-to-day projects, execute student communications, support
CRM operations and reporting, and provide essential logistical and administrative support across admissions initiatives. You will expertly manage competing priorities and complex workflows with a meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to hitting every deadline in the following core areas of responsibility:
Project Coordination & Operational Support
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and workflows for admissions campaigns and outreach initiatives.
- Liaise with Admissions, University Communications, and IT to ensure cohesive execution and strong data integrity.
- Document processes, templates, and best practices to streamline future work.
- Maintain shared project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar) to track progress, dependencies, and deadlines.
- Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and basic budget tracking for outreach activities.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for campaigns, events, and stakeholder meetings.
Data Reporting & Technology Coordination
- Support Slate CRM implementation, enhancements, and data flows.
- Maintain dashboards tracking campaign performance, engagement, and conversion metrics.
- Validate data accuracy and prepare weekly or monthly reports on key admissions KPIs.
- Support yield and conversion analysis to inform campaign optimization and outreach strategies.
- Assist with list segmentation, tagging, uploads, and data hygiene within Slate and related systems.
- Coordinate with the technical product manager and program leads.
Communications Execution & Lead Nurture
- Support lead conversion through targeted, multichannel communications (email, SMS, social, web).
- Collaborate with admissions leaders to develop and optimize messaging plans aligned with enrollment goals.
- Draft and edit communications including nurture sequences, event invitations and follow-ups, and landing page copy.
- Assist in re-engaging past leads and alumni through tailored outreach and engagement tracking.
- Monitor and maintain content accuracy across program pages, FAQs, and inquiry forms to ensure consistency.
Content & Creative Support
- Support development and refinement of admissions and program content (presentations, blog posts, case studies, social posts).
- Provide basic design support using tools such as Canva or Adobe to execute quick-turn updates.
- Format, proofread, and design presentations and pitch decks.
- Ensure all materials align with university brand standards and accessibility requirements.
- Coordinate video or testimonial content in partnership with program teams or student ambassadors.
Event & Collateral Management
- Source and manage production of materials for recruitment events, conferences, and fairs.
- Coordinate shipping, inventory, and on-site logistics for events.
- Track delivery timelines and ensure materials are available as needed.
- Support on-site execution, including check-in, materials distribution, and vendor coordination.
The Program Associate may provide general administrative support to the Associate Dean, Enrollment Management and Student Life, and support colleagues and activities throughout the College.
Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
This is a hybrid position with three days in the office in Washington, DC or northern Virginia and two days remote. There will be some required in-person meetings in Washington, DC, as well as travel for recruiting events. |
| Minimum Qualifications: |
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |

To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will bring a blend of the following strengths and experiences:
- Slate expertise is highly desired.
- 2-4 years of experience in a coordination, operations, or communications support role is highly desired.
- Proven track record of managing priorities and meeting tight deadlines through superior organization and clear communication.
- Knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Trello, or equivalent). Strong interest in learning more.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and design tools (Canva or Adobe Suite).
- Prior experience working within a higher education, university admissions, or enrollment management environment.
- Analytical mindset with comfort handling reports and performance data.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
