Position Summary: Under the direction of the Health and Human Services Chair, provide instruction and support to the social work students and the Social Work Program. Faculty rank and tenure will be based on qualifications. This position is a 10.5-month appointment.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Faculty will provide quality instruction in courses they are assigned
- Advisement and mentoring
- Attend departmental and university faculty meetings
- Participate in research and other scholarly activity
- Assisting with CSWE accreditation standards
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Other appropriate duties as assigned by the Health and Human Services Chair and/or as outlined in the Faculty Handbook
Minimum Job Requirements:
- LMSW, LISW, DSW, or Ph.D. in Social Work
- Two years of teaching experience
- At least two years post-master's experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Applicants must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to excellence in teaching students of diverse backgrounds.

Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
- Work is sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a consistent amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
