Description

Primary Purpose:

This position is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the Regional President (RP) and acts on behalf of the Regional President and Bank in a manner that reflects the Bank's mission, goals and values.

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Supporting the RP in such a manner that they are able to more effectively perform their job.
  • Manages day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Prepares analysis reports for banker performance.
  • Prepares regional reporting as requested by RP
  • Manages time records and vacation scheduling for all bankers.
  • Prepare routine correspondence, reports and forms in support of the RP.
  • Anticipates problems, critical issues and opportunities as they arise and advises the RP accordingly.
  • Coordinates non-profit outreach and sponsorship contributions for the Region.
  • Prepares reports that are presented to the Regional Board of Directors.
  • Liaison for Regional Board Members for all inquiries.
  • Reviews bills for payment and prepares the monthly reconciliation of the RP's expense card.
  • Assist with on-and-off-site meeting preparations and execution.
  • Maintain and order office supplies.
  • Compile and distribute reports and other documents, file correspondence and other records.
  • Assist with special events as requested.
  • Handles sensitive issues that require confidentiality.
  • Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:



  • Proven ability to independently perform duties with confidentiality and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate situations, exercise independent judgment and make recommendations/ decisions as necessary
  • Excellent time-management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Flexible as demands and priorities change
  • Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality and judgment in dealing with sensitive issues
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and guidelines effectively and accurately
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone manners


Desired Skills & Competencies:



  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in banking


  • Two years of Administrative/Executive Assistant experience


Physical Requirements:



  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
  • Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
  • Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
