Buyer for Supplier Recoveryin GAC Savannah Unique Skills: Supplier Recovery - position location: CSDC/MSRCC Warehouse With minimal direction, perform the activities associated with the Supplier Recovery Process. Research and analyze all cores; review supplier quotes for eligible warranty repairs and replacements using available contracts and agreements. Responsible for capitalizing on contractual obligations ensuring the company's financial liability (inventory and warranty expense) is minimized. Assist with the warranty registrations on newly delivered aircraft. Monitor and action reports related to the warranty warehouse and non-conformance issues. Support continuous improvements to the Supplier Recovery process. Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business administration or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 2 years Procurement, supply chain or related experience. Master's Degree may offset 2 years of experience.
Position Purpose:
Under limited supervision, executes procurement activities for aerospace parts, materials, and services. Ensures compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while supporting operational efficiency and supplier performance. Job Description
