Overview
Aquent Studios is seeking an experienced Brand Visual Designer who is artistic, hands-on, highly collaborative, and passionate about every aspect of the creative process from concept to completion. They will support a high-profile retail client for project-based design support for 3-5 months. This team is a lean collective of creatives, designers, and publishers supporting a wide range of content development needs, specializing in training as well as internal communications and event collateral for Staff, Operators, and Team Members. Internal VIS/ Brand Guidelines
We have a working draft version of our internal brand guidelines, visual direction, and core Identity. We are looking for a Brand Visual Designer to complete a few remaining sections and translate those guidelines into a cohesive, usable visual identity system. Key areas you'll be responsible for:
Building clear, usable brand guidelines
Defining portions of the brand color and logo system
Translating portions of the strategy (motion & video) into visual rules
Creating application examples to validate the system Creative Design
* Concept, create, and develop design assets and motion graphics for internal learning initiatives, events, and communications
* Work with the principal creative lead, learning designers, and internal stakeholders to understand visual design goals and develop innovative, effective creative solutions
* Steward the Chick-fil-A brand ensuring all art, illustration, iconography, and other design elements are in alignment with brand and visual identity standards
* Develop and present visual design concepts, visual treatments, and prototypes Content Creation
* Concept, develop, and create high-quality design elements and multimedia content
* Develop and execute multimedia strategies, ideas, and concepts for various projects
* Conceptualize content ideas, participate in creative brainstorms, develop storyboards, and implement creative strategies
* Prototype design solutions using AI tools to streamline production and accelerate ideation
* Ensure content meets target audience objectives and aligns with brand and visual identity guidelines
* Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices Project Management
* Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initial concept to final delivery
* Develop and manage project timelines, scheduling, budgets, and client communication
* Under the guidance of the Creative Lead, manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Align with client and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
* Be self-directed, organized and a master at managing multiple projects at once
* Manage external agencies and production partners, including onboard, SOWs and key deliverables
* Finish and deliver final files according to desired specs and platform
* Ensure final product meets client expectations, quality standards, and aligns with brand guidelines Collaboration & Communication
* Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal creative teams
* Comfortable presenting concepts, wireframes and incorporating stakeholder feedback/ direction into actionable solutions
* Adept at receiving constructive feedback, defending ideas where appropriate, and implementing solutions
* Work closely with creative specialists (writers, editors, and designers) to ensure seamless execution of projects Required Experience
* 6 or more years working with a creative team as a design specialist
* Design portfolio showcasing range of projects and platforms
* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and AfterEffects, & Firefly
* Proficiency in presentation software: Slides, Keynote, or Powerpoint
* Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
* Fluency in visual design, principles, visual storytelling and creative visualization.
