As a Security Officer Retail Center Patrol Driver in Ladera Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will drive through assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing reliability, integrity, and an innovative mindset to every shift.

Position Type: Full Time - Late Day Shift

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe site conditions, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assist with crowd and visitor management, and complete accurate logs, reports, and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
