Utility Operator - ETW

• With full oversight by a Team Lead or Supervisor, the Apprentice will learn the following based on the currently assigned department
  
  
  
  • Welding: Support and learn automated welding machines on assigned shifts with a high focus on quality
  • Production Control: Support and learn fitting, PWHT, shipping and receiving on assigned shifts with a high focus on quality
  • Maintenance: Support and learn trouble shooting, calibration and maintenance on assigned shifts with a high focus on quality
  • Any Other Department: Support and learn the responsibilities of the department on assigned shifts with a high focus on quality
  
  
  
  
• Take responsibility for the results of work performed and follow all requirements of work instructions and supervisor/team lead direction.
• Keep a neat and tidy work area at all times
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning of both your area and other areas when assigned
• Grind, polish, wire wheel and prepare parts for welding as instructed
• Use cleaners to clean parts before welding.
• Maintain a good attendance record. This includes no tardies and no unexcused absences.
