As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover Driver Patrol in WILMINGTON , DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a retail mall location. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist shoppers and tenants with directions and questions, and document and communicate concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests at a retail and mall location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, tenant corridors, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual behavior, documenting observations and following site procedures for notifications and follow-up.
• Complete reports and required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and customer service interactions, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
