As a Security Officer - TWIC Gate Driver in Benicia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a large chemical and petrochemical location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and help maintain orderly entry and exit points. You will monitor activity, document incidents, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide a visible presence that helps to deter security-related issues. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification and authorization, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicle and foot traffic in accordance with site procedures, including directing deliveries, coordinating with operations staff, and reporting irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and supporting emergency response teams as directed.
• Complete required reports, access control records, and shift turnover communications, and use radios and/or phone systems to coordinate routine and urgent activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
