*Description*
This role serves as a senior technical expert, leveraging deep experience and sound judgment to plan, deliver, and improve enduser technology services. The position provides escalated support, acts as a trusted resource for complex desktop and endpoint issues, and plays a key role in service management maturity. *Key Responsibilities* * Provide expert-level technical support for desktop and endpoint environments, including operating systems, applications, laptops/desktops, printers, mobile devices (iOS, Android), wireless devices, and peripherals. * Diagnose, patch, image, deploy, and maintain desktop systems and related hardware. * Serve as an escalation point for the Help Desk, resolving complex or highvisibility issues. * Configure, administer, and optimize the ITSM platform; lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ITIL and industry best practices. * Develop, document, and implement IT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines. * Coach, train, and mentor junior technical support staff and IT team members. * Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with all customers, including executive leadership. * Lead or coordinate the work of others as needed and contribute broadly across IT initiatives. *Required Skills & Experience* * Strong hands-on expertise diagnosing, patching, and deploying desktop systems and related IT hardware (mobile devices, printers, peripherals). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with executives and non-technical users. * Proven ability to identify, lead, and implement ITSM improvement initiatives using ITIL and industry best practices. * High degree of self-motivation with the ability to prioritize, execute, and follow through with strong attention to detail. *Nice to Have* * ITIL 4 Foundation certification or equivalent knowledge/experience. * CompTIA A+ certification or similar. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
