Overview

The Infrastructure Legal Affairs team has an immediate opening for a Senior Program Manager, Infrastructure Legal Affairs who will play a key role in helping our Azure Hardware and Systems Infrastructure legal team improve our legal engagement processes and scale our legal work and resources using Microsoft's AI technology.This is a unique opportunity for a program manager to help support Microsoft's rapidly expanding global cloud while using the latest AI innovations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end managementof key process improvementinitiatives relatedtoAzure Hardware and Systems Infrastructureworkflows, including trackingmilestones,managing dependences, and ensuringtimelydelivery acrossteams.

  • Collaboratewithlegalteam members tocreate a rhythm of business, communications plan, and execution strategyforAzure Hardware and Systems Infrastructureprogram.

  • Provideexpertiseto produce collateral to ensure stakeholder needs and businessobjectivesare met.

  • Supportdevelopment and implementationof governance models for decision-making, risk escalation, and accountability.

  • Ensuresmooth rollout of process changesthrough documentation, training, and feedback loops.

  • Supportstrategic initiatives that supportthe team'sobjectives.

  • Collaboratewithlegalteam members within and across organizational boundaries, including engineering teams,business teams,finance,and other attorneys.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience navigating matrixed, cross-functional business structures.
  • Program/project/change management in architecting processes to deliver proven legal support at scale and/or a background managing legal operations.
  • Ability to manage, measure, understand and drive progress of complex programs across a diverse group of stakeholders and can think through and address a range of challenges from small to grand and drive toward specified outcomes under deadlines.
  • Desire and ability to work as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
  • Keen business sense, ability to think creatively and strategically, and a sense of humor.
  • The ability to deliver impact through superior collaboration and be a process-oriented thinker with proven execution skills and results orientation.
  • Capability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workflow, and adjust to frequent fluctuations in workload and business imperatives.
  • A passion for working in the technology sector and including a keen interest in applying technology, including AI, to improve legal work and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in tools such as SharePoint, PowerBI, Excel, and other project tracking platforms.
  • Training in LEAN Six Sigma or Kaizen process improvement a plus.

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
