Current Openings At Square M LLC (d/b/a Merit Manufacturing) Employer: Square M LLC (d/b/a Merit Manufacturing) Position: Chemist (Warren, MI) (Full time position) Offered Wage: $59,000 annual salary Job Description & Duties: The position will require partnering with the sales department and other cross-functional team members to formulate various types of personal and homecare products to meet client expectations. Also collaborating with the purchasing department to provide preliminary formula pricing to customers and independently reproducing formulations based on in-market benchmarks. Additionally, the position requires proactively identifying innovation opportunities in addition to daily workload, development of novel formulas, determining and recording product specifications, performing in-house stability testing status of formulas, coordinating activities of technicians when necessary, following proper laboratory practices and standard operating procedures when recording formulations and relevant data, assisting production as required to troubleshoot technical issues, and partnering with compounding teams to ensure smooth transition of projects from bench scale to production. Location: 28635 Mound Rd., Warren, MI 48092 (position does not require travel) Minimum job requirements: Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Science, 1-3 years of employment experience in pharmaceutical science with formulation experience in skincare/haircare.
