Build deals. Shape outcomes. Create opportunity.

At CLA, we don't believe in onesizefitsall careers - or onesizefitsall deals. We exist to create opportunities: for our clients navigating complex transactions, and for our people who want to do meaningful, visible work that accelerates their growth.

We're expanding our Deal Services / Transaction Advisory team and are looking for a Senior who wants to be closer to the action - advising clients through acquisitions, sales, and strategic transitions that matter.

This is a role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, asking the right questions, and translating financial complexity into clear, decisionready insight.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior in Deal Services/Transaction Advisory, you'll play a key role in helping buyers, sellers, and investors understand what's really happening inside a business - and what it means for the deal.

You'll work sidebyside with managers and principals to deliver financial due diligence and quality of earnings analyses, while also building strong client relationships and developing the next generation of deal professionals.

Your work will include:

  • Leading core components of financial due diligence and quality of earnings engagements across buyside and sellside transactions
  • Analyzing historical earnings, cash flows, working capital, and key deal risks to uncover what drives - or threatens - value in a transaction
  • Translating findings into clear, practical insights that help clients negotiate better terms and avoid postdeal surprises
  • Participating in and leading client calls, collaborating with investment bankers, private equity teams, attorneys, and internal specialists
  • Preparing and reviewing polished, clientready reports that tell the financial story behind the deal
  • Managing multiple engagements at once in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment

You'll gain exposure across industries and transaction types, with opportunities to deepen expertise in areas like postmerger integration, transaction structuring, and value creation strategies as your career progresses.

Leadership & Team Impact:

At the Senior level, you're more than a contributor - you're a leader in the making.

You'll:

  • Supervise, coach, and review the work of Associates
  • Help develop staff by sharing deal knowledge, providing realtime feedback, and modeling strong client communication
  • Take ownership of engagement execution, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Partner closely with Managers and Principals to keep projects on track and clients wellinformed

CLA's Deal Services team works across the full transaction lifecycle - from diligence and valuation to postclose support - giving you broader exposure than traditional deal services roles. Our integrated model allows you to collaborate with tax, operations, IT, and industry specialists to deliver a more complete view of the deal and its opportunities.

Just as importantly, CLA invests in its people - through technology, training, and clear pathways for advancement - so you can grow your career alongside the practice.

What We're Looking For:

Experience

  • 2 years of experience as an Associate in an equivalent industry/service
  • Public accounting background strongly preferred
  • Exposure to manufacturing or complex operating environments a plus

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.

Certifications/Licenses

  • Working towards CFA, CPA or other post-graduate degree or relevant industry/service certification

What Sets You Apart:

  • Strong analytical instincts and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly - verbally and in writing
  • Comfort working across multiple deals in a dynamic environment
  • Curiosity about how businesses operate and how value is created (or lost) in a transaction

Create Your Opportunity:

If you're looking for a role where your work directly influences deal decisions, where clients value your perspective, and where your career can grow alongside a leading Deal Services practice - we'd love to talk.
