Entry Level Navy Logistician (Philadelphia, PA)

Position Summary:


Life Cycle Engineering is seeking an entry-level Logistician to support NSWCPD Code 311 and 317 in Logistics Product Support Management and Product Readiness. The role requires familiarity with Navy logistics products and a basic understanding of HM&E equipment. Responsibilities include supporting team efforts to develop monthly briefs and data calls related to HM&E Technical Manuals, PMS documentation, provisioning data (APLs, AELs, NSNs), drawings, EOSS materials, and CDRL deliverables. Primary duties involve developing reports, tracking action items, and assisting with updates and modifications to logistics products.

Contract Requirements:

  • Current possession of or ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance (US Citizen)


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Support program and platform initiatives by assisting with requirements identification and providing recommendations to senior personnel.
  • Coordinate with PMS321, PMS377, Codes 311/317, ISEAs, SMEs, and other Navy activities to address ILS-related issues for the LPD-17 Class.
  • Track CDRL deliverables and ILS action items to completion.
  • Prepare briefs and status reports for monthly meetings, summits, and Strike Team sessions.
  • Engage with NSWCPD ILS Leads and participate in PMS321 and PMS377 meetings.
  • Analyze technical data to help resolve ILS deficiencies.
  • Develop redlines for logistics products based on engineer and SME input.
  • Provide Task Planning Sheet input for annual requirements.
  • Represent NSWCPD Codes 311/317 at internal and external meetings.


Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related logistics experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in data entry and coordination
  • Experience in report development and writing recommendations


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years of prior Navy, Federal civilian, or DoD contractor experience
  • Familiarity with MS Access, technical/logistics concepts, and provisioning/supply terminology
  • RMC Level I or II and DAU Level I certifications preferred
  • Experience with Government logistics databases (e.g., Logiquest, Haystack, OneTouch, MBPS, Deckplate, FLIS, CDMD-OA, PMSMIS, NDE, NAVLOGTD)
  • Understanding of acquisition and in-service processes, contract documentation, SCDs, and ILS certifications Physical Demands and Expectations:
  • Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent periods of prolonged sitting may be required
  • Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance
  • Ability to use telephone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment
  • Travel requirements: Up to 15%
