As a Technical Architect in the growing nuclear energy sector, you will design and implement innovative technical solutions that power over 38 million North American homes. This role involves leading large-scale projects, defining technical standards, enhancing programming practices, and ensuring secure, scalable systems, with a focus on leveraging AI-assisted coding.



What You'll Do Day-To-Day

    System Design & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement complex technical solutions that enhance business efficiency and align with strategic roadmaps.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Lead large-scale projects, providing guidance to other technical staff and collaborating with stakeholders to define and validate user requirements.
  • Technical Excellence: Define and maintain technical standards, documentation, and functionality tests, ensuring high-quality, secure deliverables.
  • Process Improvement: Automate and improve programming practices and workflows.
  • Support: Provide testing, training, and troubleshooting support for systems and users.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a technical or business field with a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Expert knowledge in a variety of Information Technology concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.
  • Ability to translate user needs into technical solutions/specifications.
  • Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven ability to accelerate software development efficiency and code quality using AI-assisted coding tools.
  • Expertise in reviewing AI-generated code for security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate AI capabilities into actionable team benefits.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and modern workflows.
  • Strong programming background in languages such as .NET, Python, C#, or Java.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning principles.


Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: $99,000-$134,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
