About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Mid Enterprise Operations Center Engineer to join us. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Enterprise Operations Center Engineer - Mid to support high-visibility enterprise systems that demand precision, accountability, and continuous performance.

As an Enterprise Operations Center Engineer - Mid, you play a critical role in maintaining system stability, availability, and performance across enterprise environments. Your work directly supports operational continuity and ensures issues are identified, diagnosed, and resolved before they impact mission delivery.

    System uptime and performance reliability
  • SLA adherence and incident response effectiveness
  • Cross-team coordination during critical events
  • Continuous improvement of enterprise monitoring capabilities

This is a high-visibility operational role supporting mission-critical systems in a 24x7x365 environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day activities to monitor systems and infrastructure for events and alerts within the Enterprise Operations Center (EOC)
  • Coordinate resolution of events and alerts in accordance with SLAs
  • Utilize monitoring tools to identify and diagnose complex problems
  • Maintain SOPs and runbooks for monitoring and escalation
  • Provide 24x7x365 operational support including shift rotations
  • Document incidents and resolutions in ticketing systems
  • Monitor infrastructure health and performance metrics
  • Escalate issues to appropriate technical teams
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
  • Generate operational reports and metrics
  • Support continuous improvement of monitoring and alerting


Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience providing support to an enterprise operations center
  • xperience with monitoring platforms, incident management, and NOC operations
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components and troubleshooting
  • Proven ability to work in 24x7 shift-based operations
  • Understanding of ITIL incident management processes
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience
  • Education substitutions accepted per contract guidelines:
  • No Degree: 2 additional years experience
  • Associate's Degree: 1 additional year experience
  • Bachelor's Degree: Meets baseline requirement
  • Master's Degree or PhD: No additional experience required

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, SCOM)
  • Knowledge of network and systems infrastructure
  • Understanding of ticketing systems and workflow management
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating across teams
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

Background Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.

Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
