As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will support access control by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, managing entry points, and documenting security-related activity. You will conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help to deter incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and warehouse location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing authorized personnel to approved areas.
• Monitor and/or patrol key areas such as entrances, production spaces, storage areas, and loading docks to help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Screen incoming and outgoing deliveries as assigned by checking bills of lading, coordinating with site contacts, and documenting irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, documenting events, and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
