Job Description:

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering student for the Summer term to support the IC development staff through RF Test & Data Reporting Development.


Primary function involves assisting Design Engineers in the development of silicon by providing support under the direction of a Senior Engineer in the following areas:



  • Create test scripts in Labview / Test Stand
  • Develop test data & summary scripts

Required Experience and Skills

Candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:



  • Sophomore or Junior level. Will consider Freshman level if prior work or hobby experience
  • Understanding of basic analog and digital electronics through education or experience
  • Proficient with Python and Labview

Desired Experience and Skills

Candidate would ideally have some understanding of the following through education or practical experience:



  • Advanced Labview test development
  • NI Test Stand Suite development
  • Understanding of basic test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope & RF Signal Generator
  • Database management


The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
